Broken Lives psychological thriller dedicated to victims of abuse

Broken Lives psychological thriller dedicated to victims of abuse, is set in a London already deeply struck by terroristic attacks. A serial killer slaughters young lives and the Scotland Yard detective Sonny D’Amato, an Italian emigrant by second generation, investigates to arrest him.

He must discover who conceals behind the three sanguinary murders of as many people that in the course of a month, upset London and particularly its crowded community of students from all over the world. Broken Lives psychological thriller dedicated to victims of abuse, mainly children who, owing to the morbid attention by those who should protect them, never shall they be able to rely on a so-called normal existence.

Hence the title: Broken Lives, exactly like the lives of innocent violated youths compelled to make enormous efforts in order to find a stability that very often they fail to attain or they see it crumble down owing to stress or other unchecked factors, driving them to be, in turn, executioners themselves.

By the side of Scotland Yard detective Sonny D’Amato there is the clever and promising Coroner July Pence and, just by coincidence, the Salento reporter Rosario Saru Santacroce, in London to change life once more.

Existence takes by surprise Saru Santacroce and obliges him to assume the role of a damn reporter who never pulls the plug. A breathless investigation in a thriller that allows no time for a halt to reflect, because there is a sadist who must be blocked before the list of victims gets damn longer.

A psychological thriller drenched with suspense, many twists and a reasonable amount of sensuality inducing the reader to reflect on the most thorny and contradictory aspects of human mind and upon its most obscure and perhaps criminal sides.
